”Echoes of Femininity: Sauna Portraits”
Ala Talebian is an architect and illustrator of Persian origin. After completing her master’s degree at Chalmers, she went on the journey of volunteering at a yoga retreat deep in the Swedish wilderness. Surrounded by nature, living in a tent, and experiencing the Swedish sauna tradition, Ala was captivated by the raw openness people revealed in the warmth of the sauna.
Inspired by this unique connection, she began bringing her watercolors into the sauna,capturing the delicate intimacy and presence of each moment through live painting. This collection reflects her exploration of unfiltered femininity, vulnerability, and the serene beauty of the human form in its most natural state.
