Jakub is an architect who uses watercolor to portray cityscapes and studies of architecture. The paintings show detail and atmosphere of less and better known places in Gothenburg, where he spent his last two years. The artworks are inspired by everyday experience of the shadows, perspectives, rhythms and textures of urban life.
